“Sometimes you got to take a leap of faith

and grow your wings on the way down”

Yobi Yamada

CHANGE

I’ve very recently taken a leap of faith and let go of all that is certain, all that is “real” for exchange for the unknown.

Real was safe and in many areas unfulfilling, yet I’m grateful for all that came before.

The unknown is risky and uncertain although it is what I believe to be a step closer to living my dream and making it my reality, a step closer to being authentic and living my life of inspiration rather than a life of desperation.

My mind did not fully understand every little detail but everything in my being said jump and I did.

The change process is never easy and always has a element of fear and limbo.

“If you always do what you’ve always done you’ll always get what       you’ve always gotten.”– Zig Ziglar

In order for you to go beyond yourself and further than you have ever gone the only way is through there are no short cuts.

In order to do something you’ve never done,  you’ve got to become what you’ve never been and do what you have not yet done.

“empty your cup” – Nan-in Zen master

Don’t be afraid to let go of what you know, in exchange you’ll learn, receive and experience anew. This is the very exchange to transformation.

All our future fears and what if’s are problems of imagination, fiction. Ironically all solutions are solutions from the same place our imagination.

We can’t solve problems by using the same kind of thinking we used to create them.” – Albert Einstein

If we don’t change nothing will change.

“In Life our inner most dominate thought becomes our outer most tangible reality” – Dr. John Demartini

Be careful what you wish for and what you are focusing on because whether you think you can or you think  you can’t you’re absolutely right and that’s what you’re going to attract and manifest in your life.

“If there is no enemy within, on enemy on the outside can do us no harm.”- African proverb

If we fight for our limitations we get to keep them. If you fight for your dreams you get to live them.

Either of these take the same amount of time and effort. Where is your vote and intention going? Where is your creative energy going?

“The main thing is to keep the main thing the main thing – keep doing the main thing and the main thing will give you the energy to do the main thing.”- Stephen R. Covey

KEEP MOVING!

In life even if we are on the right track we’ll get hit if we don’t keep moving.

“If you have the courage to begin, you have the courage to succeed”

– David Viscott

Stay focused, stay present, any area of your life that you don’t dominate will ultimately dominate and run you. This process is your wake up call and a opportunity for you to take back control.

“With every victory over adversity, you grow in wisdom, stature and  experience. You become a better, bigger person each time you meet a problem.” – W. Clement Stone

It serves depending on how you choose to perceive it and what you intend to do with it.

The quality of your life is based on the quality of the questions you ask.

“The important thing is not to stop questioning.” -Albert Einstein

Ask yourself:

  • Where are you?
  • What are you doing for your life?
  • What’s your vision?
  • What’s your dream?
  • Are you in a dead-end unfulfilling career where you earn just enough to stop you from quitting and you work just hard enough to stop  being fired?
  • Have you found the joy in your life?
  • Are you truly living your life or are you just existing?
  • Is this it for you?
  • What do you want?
  • What inspires you?
  • What would you love to do?

“I’d rather be a failure at something I love than a success at something I hate.” – George Burns

Just before I jumped I realised that it had been a while since I’d been in front of this door. Critical moments like these have the ability to unlock and help us remember all the previous times we’ve been at this door before.

I remember times when I did and times when I did not, I remember what I felt, learnt, experienced, what followed, how it impacted me as a individual, what it had and was trying to teach me.

It intrigues me how we can look back at yesterday and still be able to extract more learning and wisdom from it, similar to reading a book or watching a movie again and this time noticing and experiencing even more than you did the first time.

Events from our past that is still able to contribute and teach us in the present.

The now, the present reveals all yet it amazes me how understanding the shadows from the past can help us become even more present and in the moment instead of living in the residual for our pasts.

A clear perspective on something helps us release baggage and helps us move forward. It creates what seems like new possibilities for us and it is companied with a new sense of self belief.

“The mind becomes helmed into a thought until a greater thought comes, along all governed by the soul.” – Ralph Waldo Emerson

It  amazes me how so many of us repel and retract from looking back depending on what the majority vote was on this chapter or issue and what we are currently holding in our awareness about it.

By understanding, healing and COUNTER BALANCING past pain it’s quickly turned around and utilised as future fortune, it’s very purpose in the first place.

This process, the old stuff that comes up, the memories, the emotions and intuitions that “randomly” pop up are the very precursors, the map, a guide to let us know where we are and what we are doing.

It’s here to help us navigate to what we truly want and a reminder of all that we learnt and discovered before so that we are able to go beyond it and not stumble, freeze or park in the same place again.

Emotions so strong that it stops us dead in our tracks and gets us to pay attention.

In life we either pay attention or we pay with pain.” – unknown

Your pain is a blessing.

Don’t resist it, it’s one of our greatest teachers and feedback mechanisms.

It’s trying to help you wake up.

It’s trying to help you grow.

“Sleep is the cousin of death. Whatever man thinks of manifests to the real, the plan is to wake up cause time reveals. – Life is what you make it! “

– Nasir Jones

Focus on what it’s trying to teach you, what it’s pointing to and not just the emotion or the feeling of pain; this is the pointer and not the message, it’s the symptom and not the cause.

Find the cause, heal the cause.

Pain is trying to help you be authentic by helping you find the way, it drives the questions and leads us to the cause.

“When you have inspired thought you have to trust it and you have to act on it. What you resist persists.”- Carl Young

Life teaches and gives us all the dots and parts to connect and build a bridge to where we desire to go, if we are prepared look, prepared to be open, prepared to be authentic and prepared to empty our cup and let go.

“You have to let it all go, Neo. Fear, doubt, and disbelief, free your  mind”

– Morpheus The Matrix

The path isn’t always easy and doesn’t always happen in the form of our fantasy.

It’s not always nice, or how we want it, yet it’s exactly what we need, the push to move, the challenge, the very opportunity to grow. Whether it’s in the form of your boyfriend, girlfriend or spouse giving you a kick up the butt, your boss, your mother, father, your kids, a friend, a stranger, losing your job, the economy, your health or the yourself in the mirror.

Things don’t go wrong and break your heart so you can become bitter and give up. They happen to break you down and build you up so you can be all that you were intended to be.” – Charles “Tremendous” Jones

Maximum growth takes place on the boarder of support and challenge.

Life gives us a perfect balance of both cruel and kind, nice and mean.

We all represent and posses both sides of this equation and you’ll never find or experience one side without the other. You will never experience pain without pleasure or pleasure without pain.

The pursuit of this fantasy and idealism is the cause of much pain, heartache and frustration- the very essence to what we need to wake up to this fantasy and to move beyond it.

“The roots of education are bitter, but the fruit is sweet.” – Aristotle

Your pain is your blessing. Say yes to it and move with it, learn from it, that is its function.

The challenges we occur in life are the very opportunistes to grow, the opportunities to choose what you want and how you want it to be.

Every day is a new day. We are all self made, a product of our actions and non actions, our choices and decisions. Nothing just happens to us we are the author of our own lives and we actively participate in creating our reality.

Become aware of your choices and actions and why you are choosing them.

“He who knows others is wise. He who knows himself is enlightened.”

– From the Tao Te Ching

Everything starts as a dream, as an idea, as the improbable or sometimes the impossible.

“Imagination is everything, It is the preview of life’s coming attractions.

-Albert Einstein

We are truly unlimited beings only bound by our limited thinking, our learnt limitations and our self imposed constraints.

“All power is from within and is therefore under our own control.”

– Robert Collier

In order to do something you’ve never done you’ve got to become what you’ve never been. You have to do what you’ve never done.

“Take the first step in Faith. You do not have to see the whole staircase, just take the first step.”- Dr Martin Luther King Jr.

Change itself does not take long; it’s the decision to change that can feel like an eternity.

“The greatest revolution of our generation is the discovery that human beings by changing the inner attitudes of their minds can change the outer aspects of their lives.”- William James

Every day is a new day. Become aware, become aware of your choices, become more aware of yourself.

Your joy and fulfilment in life is up to you nobody else. It’s your responsibility, it’s your choice. Nobody can ensure and fulfil this for you but you.You are its creator.

Pleasure is always derived from something outside you whereas joy arises and resides from within” – Eckhart Tolle

It’s waiting for you to choose, its waiting for you to decide not the other way around.

Choose, decide.

Be authentic with yourself.

“I’m going to change. This is the last of that sort of thing.

Now I’m  cleaning up and I’m moving on, going straight and choosing life” -Renton Trainspotting

The quality one must possess to win is a definiteness of purpose, the knowledge of purpose, the knowledge of what you want from life, a clear picture in your mind and burning desire to possess it no matter what.

“A successful life is one that is lived through understanding and pursuing one’s own path, not chasing after the dreams of others.’’ – Chin – ning chu

What excites me is that the pure potentiality is always there and the only thing that can really stand in your way is you.

“Fear of success is far more dangerous than fear of failure, because the subconscious mind works to prevent that which it fears. People may fear success because of low self-esteem and the feeling of not deserving it; because it will increase what others expect of them. Fear of success shows up as anxiety, indecision, avoidance, procrastination or acceptance of mediocrity.”- Joe Tye

All emotions are messengers and they too come with both sides positive and negative synchronously.

Listen to its message. See both sides. Don’t get caught up and confused with the feeling.  It’s just a pointer, it is  the symptom and not the problem itself. Look at what it’s pointing to. Look at what its trying to teach you and it will go.

Fear reveals and reflects to us the things we believe we don’t have, the very areas and structure of our incongruence.

It reveals the content of our self doubt, the main factors and elements to why we believe we can’t do it. Fear can reveal what we believe we are lacking and why we might  believe we are not good enough or why “it is” not possible for us.

“He/she who has conquered doubt and fear has conquered failure. His/her  every thought is allied with power, and all difficulties are bravely met and wisely overcome. Thought allied fearlessly to purpose becomes creative force.”

– James Allen

Fear reflects the main factors, the origin that has contributed and created our limited thinking and the justification to our limiting beliefs.

These beliefs about ourself and life are the corner stones to whether we succeed in any undertaking or not.

Whether these beliefs are true or not you will act the same. If you believe it, it will be real for you in your model of the world and you will live accordingly.

This is the X that marks the spot, this is the core, this is the difference that makes the difference. The content here in this is place is the root, the very essence between our own decided success or failure.

It’s the majority vote here at the root that determines our beliefs, determines our actions, determines our results and this will ultimately dictate which side of the coin we are on.

Whether you believe: “I can’t” or “I can!”

If you believe there are more reasons why you “can not” than “you can” then you can not.

Reasons ,fears and beliefs like: you are going to fail, or that you aren’t worth it, that you are lacking, unable, not good enough, not smart enough, not good looking enough, not strong enough, that you don’t deserve it,that it’s too late for you,  that you don’t fit in, that others will not except it, that you might loose love ones, that don’t have enough money, that you will be rejected and things will not work out for you.

“Fear is a reaction, courage is a decision”

– Joe Tye

If these thoughts dominate time and space in your mind and if they hold the majority vote, are you not the fulfilling your own self proclaimed prophecy?

Are you not choosing and creating exactly what you are thinking and believing?

Are you not at the helm of creating this reality for yourself?

“Energy flows where attention goes and results follow .Whether you think you can or can’t either way you are right.” -Henry Ford

The universe responds to us and our perceived self worth.

“Perception is projection.” – Carl Jung

What we feel and hold in the inside is a match on the outside every time, no exception. What we hold internally will manifest externally in our lives in some shape or form.

“In Life our inner most dominate thought becomes our outer most tangible reality” – Dr. John Demartini

If the majority of your votes are “I can” and this is where your belief and your intentions stay no matter what adversity you face in your ever changing environment then you will, and your results and your life will reflect this accordingly.

Your self beliefs affect all your actions and your results.

This is the power of intention.

“Yes We Can” – Barack Obama

Become aware of your votes, your focus, your intent and where it is going.

“All that we are is the result of what we have thought. What we think, we become.”- Buddha

Fear by reflection shows us the essence, fear tries to get us to pay attention here in the place where we need it most. It reveals to us what self judgments and learn limitations are standing in our way, where we are standing in our own way.

It points out to the very things what we need to do address, complete, attain, and move beyond, to prove to ourselves that we can and when we start believing, it  magically starts taking place as this is now our new self belief and our intention.

Fear has just shown you the jackpot but you have got to be in it to win it.

Unlock its message, see both sides, adjust where its needed and it will go and so will the barrier where you were standing in your own way.

“The masters live in a world of transformation not the illusions of gain or loss.” – Zen

When you are able to perceive fear in this manner it’s a great ally instead of an advisory. You will then truly know what it means when it is said: “there is nothing to fear but fear itself.”

“The way to develop self-confidence, self-belief is to do the thing you fear.”

– William Jennings Bryan

Fear is another messenger, a guide and our usher that leads us and guides us to our dreams by showing us where to tread as well as warning us to be careful when we start going off course.

It shares with us a future intuition of what might happen if we don’t pay attention and if we don’t alter our current course.

Welcome it, embrace it, learn from it, and be thankful. Its the doorway and stepping stone to your dreams.

Thank your fear for showing you the way.

“Ultimately we know deeply that the other side of every fear is freedom”

– Marilyn Ferguson

In the practice of alchemy they believed things can be transmuted, changed or altered in form, appearance, or nature.

Alchemy’s base law is the law of equivalent exchange. It states mankind cannot gain anything without first giving something in return. To obtain something, something of equal value must be exchanged.

This is the base principle to fair exchange the price we pay, the exchange for what we want.

Wherever there is an element of growth there is a element of withering;  wherever there is a element of withering there is a element of growth- everything in life is perfectly balanced.

I believe taking a leap of faith and letting go is the equivalent exchange process we go through to living our dreams and it is the start of the road in the belief that it does exist and that it can become true, that it can become real for us.

It’s an opportunity to prove to ourselves that we can, that it is possible; and when we do, when we starting believing that we can, when we start believing that we are worth it, the universe responds.

What this power is I cannot say; all I know is that it exists and it becomes available only when a man is in that state of mind in which he knows exactly what he wants and is fully determined not to quit until he finds it.”

– Alexander Graham Bell

It takes no more effort to succeed that it takes to fail. The only difference is what you are focusing on and what you congruently believe to be true.

What we are and what we produce is directly related to what we believe about ourselves.

“Whatever the mind of man can conceive, it can achieve.”

-W.Clement Stone

Most of us live a safe life to have a save death.

You can’t get out of this life alive.

Make your move before you are ready. Things will never line up perfectly with a safe count down for you.

“Courage is being scared to death — and saddling up anyway.”

– John Wayne

This is your chance for you.

Live full and die empty.

Live your dreams, live your life.

Don’t hesitate, don’t be afraid, don’t be afraid to be seen, don’t be afraid to shine, don’t be afraid to live, don’t be ashamed to be absolutely magnificent. The greatest gift you can give the world is yourself.

We are all here to live, we are all here to shine.

“Aim for success not perfection… Remember that fear always lurks behind perfectionism. Confronting your fears and allowing yourself the right to be human can, paradoxically, make you a far happier and more productive person.” – Dr. David Burns

We all have something unique and of great value to share and bring to this world.

“Everyone has talent. What is rare is the courage to follow the talent to the dark place where it leads.” – Erica Jong

The long-term visionaries know to stay the course, to stay the distance. They don’t focus on how things aren’t being done; they always look at what is being done and what can be done on an individual basis, one step at a time.

They are always solution oriented and not problem-focused.

“There is no failure, except in no longer trying; no defeat, except from within; no insurmountable barrier, except our own inherent weakness of purpose.” – Anonymous

When you start asking the right questions, when you have faith, certainty, and a strong intention, POOF the impossible becomes possible and you shift into a greater sense of awareness and a greater sense of self belief.

“The nature of everything is here to teach us faith, trust thyself”

– Ralph Waldo Emerson

This reminds us that we are indeed spiritual beings having a physical experience and that somethings are at times beyond the understanding of the mind until we go beyond it, beyond fear and we experience it.

Only then does it become our reality.

“Only those who risk going too far can possibly find out how far they can

go.”– T.S.Eliot

Change is really the only constant in life.

Change is the only thing we can have certainty and “security” in as it happens constantly.

Change is the very nature of life.

Embrace it.

“Security is mostly a superstition. It does not exist in nature, nor do the children of men as a whole experience it. Avoiding danger is no safer in the long run than outright exposure. Life is either a daring adventure, or nothing.” – Helen Keller

My leap of faith, you’re reading it I’ve let go of a 10 year career an unfulfilling safe heaven. I’m ready to live and fight for my dreams. I’m ready to experience life and to honor myself, my dreams, my light, and my own magnificence.

I’m ready to face my fears, I’m ready to be knocked down and get to back up again, again and again, no matter what because I have faith in myself and the universe and I know deep in my soul I will find the peace, love and serenity I’m striving for in this life. All I need to do is tune in and tune up. As its always been here all I need to do is be present and live in the moment and in this glorious gift of live.

I deserve it and so does everyone out there and I intend to share this message, the Way with everyone that wishes to find the joy in their lives and live their dreams.

“Follow your bliss and the universe will open doors for you where there were only walls.” – Joseph Campbell

Thank you.

Love and light.

Morne’ Welgemoed.

“Divine Providence, I thank you for all the blessings you have bestowed upon me. I ask not for more riches, but for more wisdom with which to accept and use wisely, the riches I received at birth in the form of the power to control and direct my mind to whatever ends I desire.” – Napoleon Hill
